Tymek Papior is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer who uses an array of prepared and unconventional instruments, including a modified drum kit, his younger sister’s harp, a broken accordion and raw field recordings. He juxtaposes acoustic soundscapes with heavily distorted digital sounds and synthesisers, combining electroacoustic sound design with improvisation.

The result is a body of compositions filled with shifting textures and spaces, in which organic sound sources collide with abrasive electronics. This approach is documented on his solo albums Rugs/Carpets, released in August 2024, and WSPÓLNA SPRAWA LP, released in January 2026.
