feeo is the solo project of vocalist, songwriter and artist Theodora Laird. Song and storytelling lie at its centre, with personal narratives situated within the political and sociocultural landscape of contemporary London. The artist combines music production, performance and the written word, creating work in which intimate experience meets a broader social context.

feeo’s debut album, Goodness, was released by AD 93 in October 2025. It is an open, impressionistic composition built from drone, ambient, experimental electronics, improvisation and minimalist dance music. Distinctive vocals and poetic lyrics move through shifting forms, exploring tensions between connection and isolation, the city and the natural world, darkness and light, visibility and concealment, solitude and togetherness.

Outside her solo practice, Laird forms the duo Crosspiece with bassist Caius Williams and is involved in GRAIN Residency, a programme dedicated to improvised and experimental music. Her approach to songwriting grows out of improvisational practice, through which she explores the phonetics of language and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. Goodness has been recognised by Pitchfork, DJ Mag, The Guardian and The Wire, among others.
