Ecko Bazz is a Ugandan rapper and highly expressive performer who gained international recognition following the release of his debut album Mmaso on Nyege Nyege Tapes / Hakuna Kulala. His music combines the intensity of trap, darker forms of dancehall and politically engaged poetry in Luganda, addressing violence, religion and life in Uganda’s impoverished neighbourhoods.

On stage, Ecko Bazz moves from cold, direct observations to explosive screams and frenetic expression. His dynamic flow unfolds over heavy, distorted productions by artists including Debmaster, Slikback and PQ, creating music that is raw, confrontational and deeply rooted in social experience.

For this project, the artist joins forces with his long-term collaborator STILL — a Milan-based music producer and visual artist, founder of Hundebiss Records, also known as Dracula Lewis. His practice moves freely between sound and image, while his nomadic approach to form allows him to continually reshape the language of contemporary electronic music. The joint performance by Ecko Bazz & STILL is an intense encounter between radical rap, club deconstruction and audiovisual expression.
