Molar is a trio formed by Bartosz Weber, Michał Fetler and Jacek Prościński. The group performs material based on Weber’s compositions, developed through the creative input of the other musicians. Electronics rooted in the sounds of the 1990s meet an avant-garde approach to jazz, trance-like repetition and the energy of a live ensemble. Precise, loop-based structures remain open to instrumental expression, stylistic shifts and the musicians’ constant interaction.

Bartosz Weber – a multi-instrumentalist known from Baaba, MIR and Mitch & Mitch, is responsible for guitar, samplers and the electronic architecture of the pieces. Saxophonist Michał Fetler, leader of Głupi Komputer, Polmuz and Fanfara Awantura, brings a fascination with low registers and trance-like repeated phrases. The line-up is completed by drummer and producer Jacek Prościński, associated with HAŁVVA, Lasy and his solo project wh0wh0. During live performances, the saxophone parts are sampled and processed in real time, while the compositions become a starting point for freer and more intense playing.
