Meril Wubslin is a Belgian-Swiss band founded in 2010 by Christian Garcia-Gaucher. Their music spans lo-fi, folk, psychedelia, trance, and more experimental forms of contemporary music. Initially, the project functioned as a minimalist duo based on two guitars and harmonized vocals, eventually expanding its sound to include drums and electronics.

Improvisation and repetition are key elements of Meril Wubslin’s live performances. Songs that last only a few minutes on their albums can expand into forms lasting over a dozen or even several dozen minutes when performed live, gradually building tension and a trance-like intensity. Since the 2016 album *Sinon*, all of the band’s lyrics have been performed in French.

In 2021, Bongo Joe released the album *Alors quoi*, and in 2024—*Faire ça*, recorded in London, on which the band collaborated with producer Kwake Bass. The current lineup consists of Christian Garcia-Gaucher (guitar, vocals, sounds, and lyrics), Eloise Ledent (vocals and SPD-SX), and David Costenaro (drums and SPD-SX).
