Simon Grab is a Swiss sound artist, musician, composer and sound designer. He creates music for film, theatre, dance and radio, while in concerts and installations he treats the surrounding space as an acoustic playground. His sonic language is based on noise, discarded sounds, feedback and deep, pulsating bass frequencies.

Grab works on transdisciplinary projects, combining improvisation with other art forms and musical contexts. He is interested in sound systems operating on the boundary between control and autonomous activity, as well as in moving beyond established divisions between noise, dub, performance and sound art. His recordings have been released by labels including -OUS Records, LavaLava Records and Sound-Space.
