GORZ is a duo formed by Lara Alarcón from Argentina and Cyrill Ferrari from Switzerland. Their music combines noisy, primitive riffs, distortion, fractured rhythms and flexible structures with expressive vocals that shift from screams and screamo to unexpectedly delicate, almost “cute” melodies.

On stage, GORZ create a hypnotic and intense spectacle filled with drama, irony and sudden changes in tension. Tenderness becomes a weapon, screaming a form of caress, and extreme volume a space in which aggression and sensitivity exist simultaneously. The result is a musical world that is raw, direct and, as the artists themselves describe it, “brutally cute”.

The duo tour extensively around the world, performing in Indonesia, Japan, South America, Mexico and numerous European countries. GORZ have presented their music at festivals including Bad Bonn Kilbi, Toxoplasmose, Música Estranha, Jogja Noise Bombing and Buenos Aires Noise, feeling equally at home on large stages and in independent underground spaces.
