Automotive is a group exhibition curated by Domi Depowska and Iza Roko. Its points of departure are J. G. Ballard’s novel Crash and Julia Ducournau’s film Titane. At the centre of the exhibition is the car-machine as an object invested with libido and erotic fascination. Beginning with the automotive fetish, the exhibition examines fantasies that evolve towards transhumanist visions of the body and machine merging into one another.

During the opening, the Welsh duo Yeah You — Elvin Brandhi and her father, Gustav Thomas — will perform from inside a car parked in front of the gallery entrance.
