Tim Dahl is a New York-based bassist and vocalist, best known for his work with noise-rock bands Lydia Lunch Retrovirus and Child Abuse. He also writes and performs for jazz bands Pulverize the Sound and GRID. Dahl has performed and/or recorded with many other well-known musicians, such as Yusef Lateef, Archie Shepp, Eugene Chadbourne, Tatsuya Yoshida, Mary Halvorson, Peter Evans, Jandek and others….

As the face of the Grid project, he will perform at the Avant Art Festival in duo with Thor Warland. He is a percussionist originally from Stavanger, Norway. He has been releasing music, organizing concerts and traveling around the world since 2011. Mostly active with experimental bands, Golden Oriole, Staer, Firmaet Forvoksen and Burning Axis.
