Ostrowski (PL)
Krzysztof “Freeze” Ostrowski is a Bydgoszcz-based musician, instrumentalist and producer, most often associated with the electronic scene in the broadest sense. His artistic activity is influenced by a multitude of experiences related to sound: musical education, years of electronic music production,or work in a brass band. He skillfully moves within various musical forms and genres. A wide, constantly refined selection of instrumentation and a vast artistic imagination are the hallmarks of the artist, often leaning towards experimental solutions.
He performs solo, and as part of the Soundscape Mirror audiovisual duo (with visual artist Tom Skof), as well as in various configurations often associated with Bydgoszcz alternative music originating from the Brain club. Together with Mateusz Wysocki, Fischerle forms the duo IFS. In 2018, together with Kuba Ziolek, he formed the duo Clinamen, which debuted with the album “The tropism of spring” in the fall of 2020. He has recorded and performed with Tony Buck, Grzegorz Pleszynski (Transmemories), the improvised orchestra Come Down to Earth, Piotr Cisak, Slawek Janicki, among others.
