DJ Lag is one of the leading producers and DJ’s from Durban, South Africa. The self-proclaimed gqom king comes to Kraków as part of the Gqom Oh! label showcase, a presentation of this new and exciting genre that has already infected sets from the likes of Kode9 and Mumdance. Gqom is a very raw, minimalist and heavy form of South African house music, focused on repetition; it fits well alongside the UK’s bass continuum and Chicago’s footwork scene.
