Mazut is a music project by Michał Turowski and Paweł Starzec, originating from the punk/industrial scene. The band gradually moved from experiments and second-hand toy instruments towards noise dance music. Collectors of strange samples and tapes from flea markets, fans of acid bass. They have played over a hundred concerts, several of them far from home, and released several albums on various labels. The latest, ‘Dirt Collector’, was released this year and represents a stylistic shift towards slower forms. Dirty, simple and primitive music.
