Straight from the heart of Nottingham, duo Frost & Kyeza have been developing an intense and innovative artistic collaboration over the past five years that has become one of the most intriguing voices in the UK underground scene. Both artists hail from the same area of the city, and their distinctive sound has grown out of years of working together at the independent DTR Studios – an important focal point of the local music scene.

Their joint releases – Coldlife, Top of the Roof and A Thousand Nights – showcase their ongoing development and creative exploration. Coldlife is an emotional journey through coldness and perseverance, underpinned by atmospheric sounds and precise lyrics. Top of the Roof is a manifesto of ambition and artistic vision, while A Thousand Nights expands their aesthetic with cinematic production and evocative storytelling.

Frost – a producer and sound engineer – creates complex, immersive soundscapes that blend perfectly with Kyezy’s narrative style and versatile vocals. Together they combine influences from grime, garage, dubstep and experimental electronica to create music that is sonically rich and emotionally engaging.

Their work has received national recognition, finding its way onto the airwaves of BBC 1Xtra and Rinse FM. Frost & Kyeza are representatives of a new wave of artists from the Midlands who not only represent their city, but consistently expand the boundaries of contemporary urban music.
