Zonal is Kevin Martin and Justin Broadrick previously known as Techno Animal, a defunct project of 1990’s and early 2000’s, united in an ambition of mixing techno with a punk and noise edges. Both took part in numerous side projects, another alter egos, for Broadrick it was Jesu and Godflesh, Martin collaborated under the names of The Bug, ICE and GOD (featuring Nigel Armstrong, John Zorn, Lou Ciccotelli). Now they are ZONAL, channeling that spirit and experience into a chaotic and punishing mix of techno, punk and DIY spheres, striking with single, elemental force.
