The Wrocław Improvised Orchestra was founded in April 2021 out of the need to create a platform for musicians interested in improvised music. The orchestra’s members represent various musical genres, including jazz, classical music, hip-hop, electronic music, and experimental music. Based on experiences gained from collaborating with other orchestras, the group has developed a language of communication that allows them to shape the form and dynamics of the performed pieces in real time. By combining a classical approach to music creation with the concept of free improvisation, the orchestra creates an unpredictable and emotional narrative that is cohesive and intriguing for the audience.
