The duo explores the sonic potential of dance and the corporeality of percussion, focusing on gestures, dynamics, and the tensions between pause and action. Our performance experience, along with drawing from Asian cultures, allows us to refresh the relationship between movement and free improvisation. It creates a synchronous structure, a dialogue — the spontaneity of improvisation and attentiveness to each other’s gestures and signs (movement language) — swinging arms, twisted fingers, falling heads.

Their relationship has given rise to a sound-language code that naturally evolves and resonates during the performance — rustling, syllabic voice, breaths, or spontaneous shouts. They enrich the performance with trance-like, minimalist harmonies of melody or electronics — depending on the context. We form a loop that reflects our philosophical outlook — the existential potential of dance and the polyrhythms of social relationships — the interdependence between the individual and the collective.
