Piotr Damasiewicz – composer, trumpeter, multi-instrumentalist, educator, traveler, and curator of international music platforms. Luciana Rizzo – sound artist and musician, lives and works in Buenos Aires. Their shared story began in 2022 in Vienna at the Celeste club, during one of the famous Monday improvisation sessions initiated by the legendary, late Marko Eneidi. The artists were brought together by Viennese drummer Didi Kern, who was hosting and curating at the time, and paired them with the remarkable Mathias Loibner. The trio performed an improvised concert in line with the venue’s tradition, kicking off individual musical encounters. That evening, Luciana mentioned her wish to visit Poland and explore the local music scene, which will soon come true at the upcoming Avant Art Festival in Wałbrzych.

This duet combines two entirely different personalities from diverse traditions and styles, united by improvisation and experimentation as key elements of their shared artistic language. The artists are representatives of the Polish improvised music scene (Wojtek Mazolewski, Michał Szamburski, Patryk Zakrocki, Grzegorz Lesiak, Kateryna Ziabliuk, Paweł Romańczuk) and will perform at some of the most important venues on the musical map of Poland.
