Rafał Ryterski (PL)
Composer, activist, interdisciplinary artist, curator. Born in 1992 in Gdynia. The synthesis of various musical genres is a characteristic feature of his work, and Ryterski himself calls this practice genrebending. In recent years, this artist has also eagerly transcended the convention of music alone, creating interdisciplinary works at the intersection of performance and theater. His art thematically oscillates around the concept of identity, cultural phenomena characteristic of LGBTQ+.
Ryterski’s music can be heard both in concert halls and clubs – he has released two albums to date (Tears are the Diamonds of the Soul, label BAS, 2021 and Gaymers’ Cheatsheet, label Pointless Geometry, 2022). Additionally, this creator also composes theater music and has collaborated with directors such as Kuba Kowalski, Marta Górnicka, Agnieszka Jakimiak/Mateusz Atman, Aga Błaszczak, Anna Obszańska, and Przemysław Jaszczak.
The event is co-organized with the Warsaw Autumn Festival.
