Polish drummer and composer. In April 2022, his debut solo album “Pozdrawiam” was released by Pointless Geometry. The album features a sonically fresh and genre-rich material, combining heavy percussion rhythms with electronic sequences, abstract synthesizer parts, noise, field recordings, static textures, and pop-style autotuned vocals. The album perfectly balances between pop aesthetics, trance-like qualities, and experimentation. A continuation of this exploration can be heard on the “b-day EP,” which was released in 2023 by Love & Beauty Music.

Szymon studied at the Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium, an artistic music academy in Copenhagen. He leads bands such as the post-jazz Pimpono Ensemble, Pimpono 2+4, and E/I, which plays minimalist music. He has been actively involved in the European free improvisation scene. He is a member of several experimental duos, including Alfons Slik (with Grzegorz Tarwid), Czajka & Puchacz (with Kaja Draksler), Wood Organization (with Tomo Jacobson), and Boys Cry (with Gianluca Elia). He is the co-founder of the independent label Love & Beauty Music and the Idealistic festival. He also hosted the “Trans-Bałtyk” radio show on Radio Kapitał, showcasing the Danish underground music scene.
