Camelot art exhibition
Camelot
28-29.09.2024
The title of the exhibition refers to the legendary castle of King Arthur Pendragon, who once ruled medieval Britain.
For hundreds of years, Arthurian tales, such as those of the Knights of the Round Table or the Holy Grail, were passed down orally by troubadours and poets. Always vibrant, these stories changed with each telling to match the imaginations of the listeners and their perceptions of distant times.
Similarly, medieval themes and iconographic references are present in contemporary art today. They draw upon the imagery of the past to create their own myths and build legendary castles, like Camelot.
