Formed in 2006 with Junya Noguchi on guitar and vocals, Keisuke Koyano on bass guitar, and Hideaki Yamada on drums. Performing as a three-piece, its tracks are made through a .process of editing, replicating, and deliberate error.In recent years, the band has attempted to construct and implement a form of live concert in which they go back and forth between playing multiple simultaneous songs in parallel, but the flow of time as a whole manifests as a single unified rhythm. For this years AAF, the band will collide with Hubert Kostkiewicz, the guitarist of Wroclaw’s The Kurws, to present the improvisational project, that had its premiere last month in Kyoto
They will come to Wrocław and Warsaw with the premiere of the new album Palm, which will be released in May 2019 in Ideologic Organ, the curator of the project is Stephen O’Malley, Rashad Becker is responsible for the final production. At the concerts in Poland Kukangendai will play with guitarist Hubert Kostkiewicz known from Kurws, as the result of a residency of artists in Kyoto organized by Avant Art foundation in May 2019.

The concert is a part of Wroclaw meets Japan 2019 project, supported by EU Japan Fest.
