Vienna’s pioneering music scene finds its embodiment in the groundbreaking trio Radian. Martin Brandlmayr (drums, electronics), Martin Siewert (guitar, electronics) and John Norman (bass) are revered figures in the European contemporary music community. Their music is a captivating blend of tension, contradictions and microtonality, creating an emotionally charged aura of tension and anxiety. Their upcoming fall album Distorted Rooms pushes the boundaries of microtonality, focusing on abstract guitar motifs and electronic experimentation. Through a meticulous creative process that includes transforming the tiniest sounds into rich and textured arrangements, Radian creates a distinctive soundscape while blurring the line between man and machine. Distorted Rooms will be released on September 22, which is exactly one day before the Wroclaw concert.
