Próchno (PL)
Decay may have other than its literal meaning. The sound of Próchno results from fascination with rough noise-rock, minimalism, outsider black-metal and ambient. Noise, repetition and scream. No post-rock, no riffs, no singing. Their first album (2019) had been created for several months by combining particular elements of music successively and had to be chewed while processing in a studio to become the monolith organism. “Niż” (2020) is a completely different story with Próchno in a totally interactive version. By blurring the lines between instruments and their division into roles Próchno with their second material prove to be an evolving band regardless of how radical means of expression they use.
