Michelle Olczak (PL)

A non-binary multidisciplinary artist from Warsaw. She works with music, 3D graphics and tailoring. In her sound art, she explores themes of both spatial and emotional liminality, using field recordings from train stations, bus interiors and underground stations combined with layers of glitchy electronics and instrumental-vocal improvisations. She will play remixed tracks from her last year’s album “Zgubiłem się” as well as new material focusing on the exploration of song-form compositions. Michelle’s project was selected for the lineup of Avant Art Festival 2021 as part of last year’s Open call.
