Participation in a residency gives artists an opportunity not only to develop their individual skills but also to exchange experiences and to network. It gives them an opportunity to mark their presence on the international job market, and also encourages vocational activation and strengthens artists’ competences. During the course of this project, the residents will also participate in a training, prepared for them specifically, which will consist of consultations pertaining to the following subjects :

(1) artist-in-residence programmes – application procedures and sources of financing;

(2) promote your work – building the image and the audience;

(3) art project management – organize your work and manage the business.

The training will take the form of consultations to answer artists’ current needs and will be conducted by three specialists representing leading Polish institutions and organizations.
