September 29th, 19:00 – the famous MINIMETAL in a performative form, followed by the performance by MIR, at the Puzzle club (Przejście Garncarskie 2) at 21:15. Attendande is FREE OF CHARGE. For the glory of the art and its spectators.

Today is the last day in which you can send your music to take part in the contest directed towards Polish music producers and DJs – a collective initiative of the Avant Art Festival and the T-Mobile Music portal. The award is a live act during the final of the Avant Art Festival (08.10.2011), after the star of the evening – the Bug.

The thing, for which all fans of David Tibet and ZU have been waiting for, will not happen. With regret we inform, that the members of ZU93 have cancelled their tour, including the performance at the 4th edition of Avant Art Festival in Wrocław and, among others, their appearances ta the Supersonic Festival in Birmingham.

Stephane Vecchione’s electro-acoustic theater, the gold of the libido’s economy by Alexandra Bachzetsis, the mysterious sea-blue universum of Pal Frenak, the sound worlds of the human body of Sudden Infant, the international premiere of IN BETWEEN and the magical branches of Minimetal in „Velvet Underground”, are true performative gems of the 4th edition of Avant Art Festival, taking place in Wrocław (29.09-08.10.2011)
Avant Art is well known for penetrating the new horizons of the avant-garde arts, on the ground of performance and installations. During tht 4th edition, in Wrocław, we will see the spectacles of some unique avant-garde creators.

Chcemy tworzyć festiwal dla ludzi, więc ceny też odpowiadają tej idei. Sztuka, jaką prezentujemy podczas tej edycji jest na tyle wartościowa, że życzyłbym sobie, aby zobaczyło ją jak najwięcej osób. Chcę trafić do wszystkich poszukujących nowej jakości w muzyce i sztuce. Dlatego m.in. na inaugurację festiwalu, 29 września, zaprosimy wszystkich, bez ograniczeń. Za darmo. Niech to będzie pewien symbol naszego otwarcia na sztukę i jej odbiorców – komentuje Kostas Georgakopulos, dyrektor festiwalu.

Ticket prices for the Avant Art Festival have been announced. Fans of the avant-garde can rub their hands with joy. Single day tickets, for each day of the festival, apart from the first and last day, are 20PLN in pre-sale. For the festival’s inauguration in CS Impart, Wroclaw, the organizers have announced a free of charge admission. For the praise of art and it’s recipients.

On October 8th, 2011, a unquestionable star of this year’s Avant Art Festival will perform in Wrocław. David Tibet – an outstanding artists and poet, will perform with his new project ZU93. This will be their second show on the ZU93 tour.
