Stéphane Vecchione is the drummer of Velma, a well-known swiss rock band, performing in theatres as well as rock clubs. Their shows are something between theatre plays and concerts. Trained at Lausanne theatre conservatory (SPAD), Vecchione performs as an actor in the plays by Massimo Furlan or Nicole Seiler. He also composes original soundtracks for Denis Maillefer, Massimo Furlan, Stefan Kaegi, Philippe Saire, Peter Regli (and many others) and is part of the improvisation group Deviation.
Eddy is his first solo project, between performance and music, a kind of electroacoustic theatre and drum performance. Experimental, but always playful, he wants to make it simple and accessible as well as poetic, funny and concerning.
